COUNTY COUNCIL
North Tipperary County Council was established under the Local Government (Ireland) Act,1898 and provides a range of services to the citizens of North Tipperary. Our headquarters are located in the newly constructed Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh and our area offices are located in Borrisokane, Newport, Thurles and Roscrea. The County Council is comprised of 21 Elected Representatives, directly elected through the system of proportional representation by means of a single transferable vote.
